The Ginger Snap


Missing only the flour and eggs, this yummy winter brew pays homage to everybody’s favorite little cookie. Cinnamon, clove, ginger and chicory root is also a therapeutic concoction for lowering blood pressure, and a soothing carminative for after a heavy meal.

Taste: Sweet, spicy and pungent.

Energy: Warming, grounding. -€“-V, =P,-K

Brewing Tips: Pour boiling water over tea and steep covered 3-5 minutes. Sweeten to taste At the tea shop I serve this blend with a thin pat of homemade (unsalted) butter and sweeten with a drizzle of molasses.

Brewing Tips:-  Adding fresh apple slices to the steep is a delicious and beautiful garnish.

Energy: Balanced, =VPK

Brewing Tips: Ideal with cream and honey and delicious frozen as coffee pops for a summer treat.
