Homegrown signature Chai spice blend of cinnamon, clove, fennel, ginger, black peppercorn, cardamom, vanilla bean and peppermint blended with the tea base of your choice. This is a real favorite at the tea shop, based on an authentic Indian chai recipe that makes a rich and classic cup. Be sure to indicate your choice of black, green, white tea, rooibos or yerba mate in the customers comment block when checking out (default for no selection will be Darjeeling black tea!).

Taste:-  Sweet, mildly pungent and spicy

Energy:-  =VPK, warming, stimulant and carminative

Brewing Tips: Put 1 Tbsp. tea blend, 8 ounces water and a splash of dairy* or dairy alternative into a saucepan and heat over medium heat to reach a gentle simmer for about one minute. Pour into cup and sweeten to taste.

*I use half and half at the tea shop, whole cream is even more yummy and decadent! If using regular milk, use a greater ratio of dairy to water.
