Its' delicate leaves are the very first pick of the season, and are noted for their light amber and green color, subtle floral undertones, and delicate flavor. Grown organically and under strict environmental and progressive management at the Makaibai Estate, Darjeeling 1st flush is considered the champagne of the black teas, and truly stands alone in its' sophisticated flavor and quality.  

Brewing Tips: . Allow boiling water to cool slightly before pouring over leaves. Steep 3-4 min. Gradually increase steeping time and temperature for subsequent brewing.
