Fake Coffee

This blend of roasted yerba mate, chicory and licorice root captures the flavor of coffee with just a third the amount of caffeine. Yerba mate, an herb native to Central and South America,  is a staple stimulant beverage there. With only 35% caffeic acid (compared to coffee, which contains 85%), its’ stimulant action has more to do with its’ abundance of B vitamins and warming, drying energy to the body. Delicious any way you dress your Joe, and for sure the best cup of not-java you’ve ever had.
